Cromford Canal

Cromford Canal.

High Peak Trail

The start of the route took me along the High Peak Trail for a short while.

Holloway

Fine views across the Derwent Valley to Holloway.

Looking in the opposite direction towards Cromford. The leaves are starting to turn yellow, it must be Autumn.

Birch Wood

Heading through Birch Wood.

Crich Stand

Zooming in on Crich Stand from Birchwood Caravan Site, no caravans on it now though.

Looking back towards Lea, Holloway and Crich Stand.

Bolehill

Bolehill.

Middleton Moor

Doing exactly what I shouldn't and pointing the camera in the direction of the sun, to get a shot of Middleton Moor, as I climb up Bolehill.

Bolehill East trig

The trig point on the summit of Bolehill.

Big Plantation

The track I followed down, through Big Plantation, from the trig point.

Big Plantation

The last of the day's sunshine lights up the trees ahead of me.
