Padley Gorge Monday 24th March 2014

Picked for its lack of distance and gentle descent tis walk also had the advantage of taking me into Padley Gorge, an area of the Peak District I have somehow managed to never walk.

Distance: 4 miles     Ascent: 206 metres      Time Taken: 3 hours 20 mins

Terrain: Good paths.

Weather: Warm and sunny.

The route to Padley Gorge is well signed from Longshaw Estate.

As I leave the woods the views open up to include Offerton Moor.
